A Child's Knowing

My 3-year old grandson is staying with us for a period of time. I give him a little touch therapy every day. He has been acquainted with it since he was a baby, but not on a daily basis. Now, whenever he falls or gets a bump, he comes running over and says, "Grandpa, I need touch!" Wow, that says a lot to me about what he feels about it. He intuitively knows that the touch will help him get over the hurt. If we could only be as a child.
